Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) can be daunting to review and make sense of for those working up medical litigation cases. Certified legal nurse consultant, Joanie Gold, will discuss how to navigate the EMR to find the necessary information, identify damage and causation issues, and point out documents pertinent to specific personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
EMR systems have changed the way health care delivery is documented. Using real life examples, Nicole Kulaf, RN, BSN will provide the attendees with a practical understanding of those systems and their relevance to personal injury cases.
