SECOND ANNUAL SPA LUNCHEON

 

The MAJ Women for Justice Section invite members to a special luncheon and spa afternoon. You work hard and play hard so take the afternoon to treat yourself before the convention festivities begin. Participants will enjoy a wonderful lunch in the Lake Homme Dieu room followed by an afternoon of pampering in the lovely Darling Reflections Spa. Spaces for this event are limited due to the number of spa services offered. Spa services will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. Welcome to the 2012 MAJ Annual Convention! MAJ Members will gather at the beautiful Carlos Creek Winery for a relaxing cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception. This is a great time to see friends, network with other members, enjoy the scenery and celebrate the past year in civil justice.

No cameras or recordings are allowed and CLE credits will not be available for this event. This is a great chance to exchange ideas with your colleagues and get to know other members in an informal setting.

About the authorPeter Van Buren has served with the Foreign Service for over 23 years and worked with the Department of State as the leader of two Provincial Reconstruction Teams in rural Iraq in 2009-2010. He has worked extensively with the military for many years and has received three prestigious awards for his outstanding service.

MAJ has requested CLE hours from the Minnesota (8 hours), and Wisconsin (9.5 hours) state Boards of Continuing Legal Education and (8 hours) from the Civil Trial Certification Council of the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA). Please contact MAJ for accreditation in other states.

ACCOMMODATIONS 

MAJ has reserved a block of rooms at the Arrowwood Resort and Convention Center. Dial 866–386–5263 to reserve your room. All reservations must be guaranteed by one night’s deposit. Failure to occupy the room or to cancel a guaranteed reservation in the appropriate time frame will result in a charge of one night’s room and tax applied to the method of guarantee.

 

Please Note: Rooms at the resort are being held for the convention until July 26th, 2012 at which time they will be released. Reservations received after the cut-off date will be subject to room availability and rates.

 

When calling for your room reservation please indicate that you are attending the Minnesota Association for Justice Convention. Room check-in time is 4:00 pm and room check-out time is 12:00 noon.
